Liturgies: for the ecclesia is a four-part formative journey designed to help congregations move from stuck patterns into shared clarity, trust, and faithful movement.
Rather than offering quick solutions or strategic fixes, this process guides communities through formation and communal discernment, building the emotional, relational, and spiritual capacity required for lasting change. Each liturgy builds on the one before it, moving from safety, to awareness, to integration, to embodied practice.
Each purchase includes everything needed to faithfully facilitate the work: leader pre-work (individual and collective), materials lists, a detailed facilitator guide, slide deck, participant guide, follow-up practices, a strengthening plan for continuity, post-liturgy evaluation tools for both leaders and participants, and integrated reporting to support reflection and ongoing discernment.
Before a congregation can tell the truth or move forward, it must first become a place where people feel safe enough to be present.
Liturgy One focuses on building the relational and emotional foundations necessary for any meaningful change. Through embodied practices and shared agreements, participants learn how to slow down, listen without fixing, and engage one another with care and dignity. This is capacity-building. By the end, the community is more connected, more regulated, and more prepared to engage deeper work together.
Once a foundation of safety is established, the work turns toward seeing clearly.
Liturgy Two guides a congregation in noticing and naming its shared story - its history, emotional landscape, and protective patterns - without rushing into explanation or solutions. Participants learn to describe what has shaped them with curiosity and compassion, increasing their ability to hold complexity without blame or defensiveness. This stage builds the awareness necessary for meaningful transformation, helping the community become more honest, more grounded, and more capable of engaging what is true.
Beneath every pattern is something that has been protected.
Liturgy Three creates structured space for a congregation to gently encounter the grief, fear, and attachment carried within its shared story. Through guided practices of reflection and communal witness, participants learn to name difficult truths without rushing toward resolution. This is about honoring what has been held. By the end, the community is more emotionally honest, more connected, and more able to hold vulnerability without losing stability.
Only after truth has been named and held can a community begin to move forward faithfully.
Liturgy Four helps congregations translate their shared insights into small, meaningful practices that reflect what matters most. Rather than large-scale plans, the focus is on embodied, sustainable change through practices that can be lived, tested, and refined over time. Participants discern what is theirs to carry forward together, leaving with greater clarity, shared ownership, and a renewed sense of direction rooted in their lived experience.
